So why is reading slowly soooo boring?

And why is it that some young people don’t enjoy reading?
It may be that they learned to read as a child and they’ve been left on their own to develop this amazing skill. Their performance stops increasing at around the age of 14. Reading can become more of a chore and it’s really slow paced in comparison to the speed in which a teenager’s mind can work, I’m thinking internet, smart phones, computers and fast paced video games!!
If you read slowly you end up getting bored, your mind keeps drifting away and looses focus, as a result you loose comprehension and then slow down even more to grasp the meaning of the text and at that point you are completely disengaged and give up all together.
Understanding that your brain loves speed will help you to overcome this mental block and learning HOW to speed read will help you engage with reading again. Everyone can learn to enjoy reading and our new methodology can help you improve your focus, you’ll have far superior comprehension and as a result you’ll develop your long term memory too!
